The VPR DEM packages are fully converted and organized SDTS files that are VistaPro Renderer ready. SDTS is the latest format for all Digital Elevation Modules (DEM). This VPR DEM package contains maps that are 10 meter, allowing incredible detail and provides some of the most realistic geography available on the Net today.
The Grand Canyon Package contains over 87 quadrangles, which comes to roughly 2600 individual VPR DEM files. We have included an easy to use map and coordinate system along with a text file labeling each quadrangle with its correlating coordinate. In addition, we added to each VPR DEM a color scheme specifically designed for the Grand Canyon.
Due to the limitations of the SDTS format and the methods in which the SDTS Digital Data is obtained, these VPR DEM files are NOT seamless. Seamless data is in production however. If you would like more information regarding seamless VPR DEMs please email: service at vendornation.com |

Grand Canyon CD:
The CD contains all of the converted 10 meter SDTS DEMs, organized into regions. Also on the CD is all of the original 90 meter VPR DEMs that are available for download from the VistaPro Online Community. As an extra bonus, we have crammed all the raw SDTS files onto the CD as well. Using the VPR DEM conversion utility, you can import and convert multiple raw SDTS files creating Mega sized regions. Total CD capacity: 694 MB
Grand Canyon Downloadable:
The downloadable offering contains all of the converted 10 meter SDTS DEMs, organized into regions. All of the raw SDTS files that were used to create the VPR DEMs can be downloaded for free, by registered VistaPro customers, from our VistaONLINE community web site. |

This DEM file is already converted to the VPR DEM format which means you can open them directly into VistaPro without any conversion.
